Design method in Next Design

With Next Design, not only can you handle various models created for each process in one project, but you can also design efficiently across processes.

This section describes the design method that makes use of the features of Next Design.

You can design the front and rear process models by displaying them on two screens

In general, the model designed in each process is designed by inputting the model of the previous process, so it is often checked across the models of the previous process and the subsequent process. Next Design not only allows you to view two models side by side in the main editor and sub-editor, The main editor and sub-editor can be linked, and the model displayed in the sub-editor is automatically switched according to the state of the main editor, so you can quickly check the models of the front and rear processes.

Design can be done by associating with the model of previous process

In Next Design, trace information (related to derivation) can be automatically recorded by creating (deriving) a model of the post-process by inputting the model of the pre-process. For example, when designing a system structure using a system use case as an input, you can add system components related to the use case by dragging and dropping the use case that appears in the use case diagram to the system structure diagram. .. At the same time, trace information is automatically recorded between use cases and system components, eliminating the need to manually add the trace information later and preventing omission of trace information.

The details of the above are explained on the next page.
